Typical applications

These cables are designed for use on the latest generations of high-speed container cranes with gravity-fed collector baskets. They combine the features of superior flexibility with additional ballast needed to operate at speeds of up to 160 meters/min (8.75 ft/sec). The cable is used for load ­lifting equipment, e.g. spreader with high mechanical stress in gravity fed collector basket operation. Installation of the cable must be laid into the basket in a counter ­clockwise direction - detailed instructions are available on request.

Conductor: bare copper strands
Insulation: PVC
Colour code: black cores with consecutive numbers. acc. to EN 50334 + VDE 0293-334 and a green-yellow earth wire 

Suspension unit: Armid braided with lead, 50 m of the suspended cableare supported by a 5 times safety calculation 

Stranding: cores are twisted to bundles with lead cord in the centre

Wrapping: overlapping non-woven tape
